💥All in all you get to go to the park and also get the downtown experience. I recommend going in the evening to check out the pretty cool lighting the buildings around it have to offer. It's cool to take the kids, your date, or just go solo to get piece of mind and feel the breeze💥

The only reason this place gets one star is the lack of humanity. There's 31 reviews which mention the homeless at this park. More than any other thing. The City of San Antonio and Bexar county along with the state of Texas need to create free housing for every homeless person in the state. When you visit the park just remember that you yourself are barely surviving. If you subsist on a company for a paycheck you are fundamentally unsound financially. Almost all of the homeless you see in the park have no social structure. No family or friends. It's true that a majority of them are drug addicts. Substance abuse is treatable, it is possible to help all these people on the streets. However, it doesn't benefit the powers that be who lie through their teeth to remain in power (Senators Cruz and Cornyn). Instead of doing right by the people they abuse all of us. Even those who supposedly have financial security. So to any of the visitors, mostly those who wander downtown with their freshly made United States Air Force Airmen and Airwomen. The families of those brave kids full of honor and pride. Can you imagine that kid of yours strung out on drugs sleeping in that park? If you're able to then you might be able to go back home to wherever in the country your from and make sure that all of your elected officials get voted out. Stop voting for lawyers. Plain and simple.

Too many suspicious ppl walking around looking at you all crazy and they follow you too SMH Drug activities all around as well. No restrooms. No water fountains. Too dark at night. Better lighting is needed. More seating. More greenery. A little covered area where you can sit would be great.

In the heart of downtown you can sit and enjoy your time next to the beautiful Market Square where you'll find plenty of food, souvenirs and culture to enjoy and learn about!! A must to provide a beautiful view for all that are here to enjoy a great time. Milan park is a stone throw away from the busy streets of down town. But a gorgeous park to enjoy.

It’s smack dab in the middle of the city, so don’t expect lush landscapes or anything like that. Although there are trees and some grass. There are plenty of picnic tables to eat at, and lots of benches to hang out on and enjoy being outdoors. There’s a crushed granite walking trail that goes around the edge of the park, but the park only sits on two city blocks, so it’s not really a great place to hike. More of a hang out and have lunch and enjoy the day type of place. Also a decent playground for the little ones. You can read some historic info about Ben Milam here, and check out one of the oldest former burial grounds in San Antonio. Check out the blue bench area on the east side of the park and read the information and memorial for all those that were buried there. It’s literally across the street from Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital and within walking distance from the courthouse and city hall, so it’s a good outdoor lunch hangout for those that work in the area. #SA300

A small, quiet park between Santa Rosa children's hospital and The Market Square.

It has many sidewalks that need repair. So care should be taken when walking. Homeless people are on the benches and on the gazebo.
